Film properties
- Water, chemical, alcohol and wet heat resistant
- Very block resistant
- High gloss, transparent and good pore wetting
- No yellowing in QUV, outdoor durable
- Scratch resistant
Recommendation for end-use
- Industrial wood finishes (both forced and ambient drying conditions)
- In combination with urethane dispersions in parquet lacquers
- Industrial topcoats on primed substrates
Formulating guidelines
- XK-12 requires the addition of coalescents for good film formation (e.g. butylglycol
or butyldiglycol)
- XK-12 is compatible with a range of acrylic emulsions and urethane dispersions
